Reinforce concepts learned in the classroom.
Check homework assignments.
Accelerate individual learning.
Photomath is designed to support student learners at their own level of understanding. Our goal is to surface the right information at the right time and to help students process and understand math problems using a device and format they are already familiar with.
We firmly believe that technology can positively impact and promote learning, and be a support to teachers in the classroom.
Textbooks aren’t one-size-fits-all. Learning occurs differently and is unique to each individual, and we’d like to be considered an ally and resource in your teacher toolkit.
Photomath aims to maximize comprehension of core math concepts learned in the classroom. To achieve this, Photomath has a dedicated in-house R&D team of veteran math teachers who research the most effective, contemporary teaching methodologies, develop frameworks for solving math problems, and test and apply these frameworks in live classrooms.

I am a math teacher and I tell all my students and their parents about this help. It is so great how it shows you all the steps for solving a problem. It is a great way to check your homework and make sure you are doing it correctly. I encourage everyone who comes in my classroom to get and use this app.

I LOVE this app. Every time I show it to students they are just amazed by it (as am I). The fact that it show alternate ways of solving the equations just makes for great learning opportunities that might be missed in a regular class.

This is a tool much like a calculator is. If used properly it can be powerful. I equate having access to this to being similar to having the answers provided in the back of the book. The difference is that the steps are provided which allows the students to practice the correct process when solving a mathematical equation as opposed to reinforcing poor habits by practicing incorrect steps because a student did not truly get the concept in class. I like this as a helpful tool when a student is working on homework.
We work with teachers on the frontlines of math classrooms to create guidelines for how to incorporate Photomath in and outside the classroom.
